Andrews Heights
Appalachian Heritage Day
This year students at Andrews Heights Elementary have been learning about Appalachian heritage. On Friday, October 1 the school hosted Appalachian Heritage Day. Students were immersed in all things Appalachia, including quilting, storytelling, games and butter making. Pepperoni rolls were served for lunch, and students even got to go shopping at the AHE Company Store.
