Minecraft SAHS

The Civics class at St. Albans High School was challenged to build a society from scratch. Using Minecraft as their building platform, students established a community, government, order and a voting system. They had to forage to stay alive and build to stay safe. They introduced the idea of religion and have had social outcasts.

With the help of the KCS Learning 2020 team, the entire project was managed on students school issued iPads. Several lessons were learned about both Civics and technology. Because the project was so hands on, students said they will remember it for years to come.
